Not likely. the flavanoid yellows also seem to be recessive, and are so light in colour that they wouldn't likely make much impact. The flavanoids can be a darker yellow in pumila spot, as they may be in a protein matrix in cytoplasm insted of the usually solution in vacuole, but not in haft areas of Tall Bearded.

Could it also be something simple, like a yellow & pink blend, with the
yellow being one of the "other" yellows not in the pink to yellow
synthesis pathway?
