CULT:Borers
Been doing research in back issues of the Recorder. Ran across this
treatment for borers. Originally posted in the Jan 1998 Bulletin (pg 24) and
presented again in a Recorder article by Michael Gullo of NY. (I've not read the
original) MG states that the treatment worked better than he dared imagine.
1/2 cup of Murphy's Oil Soap to 1 gallon water.
Weekly sprayings commencing prior to the appearance of the first borers and
continued through bloom season. Reapply after rain. Use in conjunction with
good cleanup.
Thought I'd pass this along!
