Re: AIS: membership & friendship


Most likely to continue to be part of the organization are those who
join to be with friends in a shared activity.

Some new members (membership drive type) become friends and stay, but
most persistant members either have such a passion for irises that they
can't stay away, or come with friends (or neighbors) to start with.

I doubt it has much to do with the Bulletin.
