Hmm, I think I subliminally know what AMW is talking about....
   
  I don't know much about the vagaries of printing but...  what if we just printed the 'business' and possibly the 'text heavy' sections on non-glossy paper but still bound it all up together in one publication?

I think more space could be found by revisiting the formatting of the 
Bulletin. I have on several occasions had the impression of much white space, and 
other graphic infelicities.
