  I doubt any temperatures of drying out etc before seeds go back into stratification make much difference to
 germination after the second period of statification.
 
 My abandon bed (where seed pots that don't germinate after second try,) have gone through very hot weather and dry out thoroughly before going into this dump site. Some still germinate from this dump site.
