Re: HYB: best pollen producers


Thanks you guys. I wasn't expecting such long lists! I was forgetting that my poor plants struggle to produce pollen here because of the late freezes every year, but most of yours probably aren't so stressed. Anthers are often shriveled and empty here on many cultivars.

So the rest of you probably can't help me with this.

Maybe I should have asked it this way:
For those of you who had major damage from the late freeze this past spring, are there a few recent (2000+ yr of introduction) potential award winning TBs that managed to produce good pollen in spite of the freezes?
