Southeast Natives

Dustin;  There are several species of Iris from the southeast USA.  
WeDu nurseries specializes in the native plants from that area and 
their botanical counterparts in Asia.  A very strange geographical 
relationship.  Iris verna is native to the piedmont and caostal plain 
but sadly is not in many gardens.  Some years back about six color 
variations were named but seem to have disappeared from gardens.  On 
your travels about you may want to watch for variations in this iris 
they would be greatly appreciated by some species enthusiasts like
