Hi Mike and others on the list,
I'm new to this list, so's here's my intro. My husband (Bob) and I are
reclaiming 66 acres of ex-timberland. Mostly clearing brush, digging
stumps, and terracing the hillsides as yet, but we are doing some planting.
We live in Arkansas (USDA zone 7b) where it was 72 F today. My favorite
flower is the iris (who'd guess). We have a lot of the old-fashioned iris
that all the old places in this area have, a couple of patches of two of the
local species iris and a few misc. We are not very knowledgable about show
iris and newer types so we will probably just lurk in the background most of
the time.
Mike Lowe, I really enjoyed your recent posting of re-blooming and fragrant.
