Erich and I are enjoying this list so much that I fear I'm neglecting the
GardensList. I was overwhelmed before, now we both are. It was Erich who
decided iris would be HIS thing in the garden and now I'm doubly grateful
that we have ten acres for him to fill with his new passion. He loves
landscaping but this is the first time that a particular plant has sparked
such interest. And now our horizons have expanded and we must explore iris
we had heretofore never heard about. We joined the AIS, already have plans
to go to a meeting in Albany and can't wait for news of events locally
(Southern Tier and/or Central NY) and in Kathy Guest's neighborhood.
Does anyone here in NY have experience with the rebloomers? I read Lowell's
post with interest, since the zones are comparable, but surely there has
been success with more than two varieties. The plant list I have from All
Seasons Iris Gardens in CA lists dozens that are reported to rebloom in
zone 5 in NY. Anyone know who did the reporting? 8-)
