Greetings all, especially fellow bibliophiles. I just wanted to comment on
the discussion over the various iris books here--I think it's been helpful,
even if we all don't see eye-to-eye. I am grateful to be informed of
problems in areas that I'm not well-versed on.
And I can't wait for the iris-books-in-making!! (Bob, Jean, Clarence--hint,
hint!)
I picked up a copy of the AIS' out-of-print "The Iris--an Ideal Hardy
Perennial" Monday to add to my modest collection and I'm still in seventh
heaven after finding it!.
Bags of dirt, heart-shaped hoes, dusty old books without color pix--we are a
strange bunch, all right!
