Greetings: 

For the record, and for what it is worth, at least as a paint pigment the
chemical was copper aceto-arsenite, with copper providing the characteristic
coloration

<< I was amused by the inclusion of 'Paris
 Green' as a color description.  Highly popular around the turn of the
 century ( I think) the pigment was derived from arsenic trioxide. >>
