A couple of years ago a neighbor and his wife were walking through our garden
looking at the irises. Seeing a row of irises with the label BROTHER CARL X
SUKY, he asked what that meant. I said those irises were seedlings with
BROTHER CARL as the pod parent and SUKY as the pollen parent. My neighbor
