Anner,
I can't speak about Mrs. George Darwin, but I am looking at a nice close
up picture of Mrs. Horace Darwin. Yes, it is a white self with
red-violet haft marks.
Of course I'm sure you know that Sir Michael Foster named these iris for
two neighbors and friends.
The WOI claims that Mrs. George Darwin has a touch of gold at the throat
and it blooms very late.
