I wish to thank those who have given me some information on Palms. At
this time, I am thinking of getting either the Windmill Palm (Trachycarpus
fortunei. Hardy to +10 F) or the Mediterranean Fan Palm (Chamaerops
humilis. Hardy to +6 F). Either one would be fine, but I prefer the
growth habit of the Windmill Palm the best. Both types can be found in
yards here, and both types are available in nurseries.
