What I'd enjoy:
Make it funny, have slides, stress the likely success in growing irises.
This is not meconopsis you're presenting, so cover the basic growing
requirements and don't dwell on possible problems, except as asked. Some
slides of area gardens would be nice if they are available. Sources and
basic growing requirements are nice in a handout. These handouts with
potentially useful info seeminly stay around here forever.

Between Abilene and Fort Worth, Texas where our winter?? has been
beautiful. I will no doubt mark this down as the year of the unguicularis,
which is still going strong. Hearing about the nasty stuff other folks
have been having to put up with makes me grateful for our Texas winters.
Now if I could just get a moderate summer as well!
