Yes, there is no doubt that spring planting is more successful for Siberians in the cold zones and quite often they do bloom the year they are transplanted-I'm not sure if they bloom the next year. I hate getting Sept. plants as they are just not attached to the soil next spring. Anna Mae zone 5
