Iris Compatable Plants

My first choice of companion plants used with iris is the POPPY -  =

I've used them for years. (annuals & perennial)   Those who =

have been lucky enough to visit Schrieners Garden may have
noticed what their choice is.  Poppies !  ( Mostly the annual type ).

  The fire engine red is a color we haven't yet been able to =

attain (so far) in iris -  So, it becomes quite a sight to see =

up growing Poppies )
