CULT: companion plants for irises

Also re: the poppy thread - Today I bought a bag of what looks like
shredded newspapers and shredded old foam mattresses with a bit of
fluffy sawdust mixed in at the WalMart for about $6 to sprinkle amongst
my irises.  This stuff supposedly has poppy seeds of unknown types mixed
amongst all the roughage.  I was overcome with impulsive curiosity.
