Maureen,
That didn't come out the way I intended for it to. I was not
saying that only those of us growing Irises in places normally not
associated with thes plants should contribute. Everyone should.
However, I do think that those of us on the "fringe" areas of
Irisdom, be it Zones 2 and 3, or the Gulf Coast/Florida may have
valuable information once we get a better idea of what will and will not
grow. This could lead to more AIS members in those areas.
It is still too soon for me to write too much. I am working on an
article now for the Region 12 [Florida] American Hemerocallis Society
Newsletter.
