A schoolbus stopped at the school. First one student got off
the bus and then the others followed shortly. I wondered if
some signal went from the first student to get off the bus
to the rest of the students who soon followed, as before the
first student got off the bus, no others were emerging from
the bus.
Or did the order of emergence have more to do with how the
students were seated on the bus and that all students were
simultaneously aware that conditions were finally suitable
for emergence (the bus had arrived).
I wondered if it were possible to label the first student
off the bus, that student could be studied to see if he/she
became a superior student, or if some superior students
enjoyed sitting at the back or middle of the bus as well.
(I'm just trying to see if an idea seems reasonable by
looking at it from a different perspective.)
