What happened? Here I have been trying to
get back on iris-talk for over a month--driving John crazy with notes that I
cannot get messages--leave for a day and when I get back there are 24
messages--Whoopee!!!
Here I am in a little town on northern
California, surviving days and days of rain and fog, and there are Iris in bloom
all around town--
Siberian--short bloom stem, medium blue in color
with falls wider than most Siberians, leaves about 14" tall
Bearded--probably TB--older short purple--about
to burst forth any day--(my husband broke off the terminal
bud-accidentally-otherwise it would be in bloom by now)
Siberian--white, small flower, not too much
substance--in bloom all around Sacramento--saw the same in southern California
the past two winters--leaves about 24-28" tall--I keep collecting seeds but
so far have not had the chance to germinate any of them--
Hello to everyone--what has been happening this
past month when I was not getting messages??
Carryl in western Montana--but in northern
