narcissis blubs (don't SAY it!) yesterday in sunny Buffalo, NY with
temps around 45+F and found the top few inches of soil to be frozen. In
some less sunny microclimates, I couldn't get the shovel into the soil.
The forecast here is above freezing nighttime temp for one or two
nights, but not by much. It's below 32F at 6 AM today. AND the weather
will normalize in a couple of days, with cloud cover.
Absolutely no snow here in the big city!!! We've had only a couple of
inches TOTAL!! Areas 15 miles south had/have more. Ski country doing
well.
