RE: AIS: Official AIS Regisration/Intoduction regulations

Yeah this is indeed new territory but as I pointed out it is somewhat
covered off in the existing requirements.
The AIS registrar (Keppel) really should NOT ever have to go looking for the
introduction info whether on the internet as a web publication or in a
paper-based type publication. Also I do really think that a web publication
of an iris advertisement or catalog is as valid a publication type as any ad
appearing in a paper based catalog, magazine or newspaper.

As I suggested, the hybridizer/introducer using the web type publication
could at this point in time just print off the relevant section of the web
page and submit it by regular postal mail to the registrar (Keppel). Perhaps
down the road once the registrar is so enabled there will be an availability
of electronic submission of this "introduction" info as well as the
"registration" info. That would be something to look at putting in place.
