I can be an extremely organised person, but very selectively.
I think the reason I keep them tucked away is that I don't want people
asking to borrow them.
I like your idea of keeping 'reservoirs' of other Aussie's hybridising
efforts. I'd hate to have to keep one if everything that Barry Blyth
produced though! I'll let you know if I like the Nilsen irises.
I thought about collecting some of Sam Fankhausers Arilbreds. I have never
met him, but I like what I have seen.
HIPS in the US, keep records of who has stock of historic irises. Something
like that would be worth while here.
