Hello to all and Happy New Year.

I've been busy getting ready for the National convention in what seems
like only a few more days, but wanted to share my good news with
everyone here.

To all of the people who gladly and willingly helped me with my judges
training these past few years, my deepest and heartfelt appreciation and
thanks go out to you.

Today I received a letter from Mr. Ron Mullin giving me the glad tidings
that I was approved for the appointment as a fully accredited Garden
Judge effective January 1, 2000.

What a great way for me to start a new Millinneium! 

For those thinking about doing this, DO IT!!!!!
You cannot imagine the effort these teachers put forth to give a
wonderful and "VERY" informative few hours training to any and all who
show up. And the time is well worth it!
I have attended several tall bearded classes, and always come away with
something I missed the past previous times. This goes for the other
classes I've taken more than once. That's the best way to remember most
of it. Once just wasn't enough. Besides, I got to see old friends there
also.
