Afternoon iris enthusiasts....
As for Oklahoma, a few things come to mind... Paul Black's OKLAHOMA CRUDE,
and the late Cleo Palmer's MISS OKLAHOMA...
Hooker also had WOODWARD CENTENNIAL, named of course after his beloved
hometown of Woodward, Oklahoma... Can't think of anything Perry Dyer ever
did with the name Oklahoma in it, maybe that will be on the horizon...
I'm almost sure between Paul and Cleo (especially) they had some other things
with the name Oklahoma in it... I think there is also one that had the name
Sooner in it, brain just not on irises at the moment, so give me a few to get
out of daylily mode...
I'll check Cleo's list (I have the list of everything he ever introduced) and
see what I can come up with...
Now a favor from you all... Does ANYONE know who is coming for the
Pollendauber's event in OKC this year??? Or, is there not going to be one?
I've checked the Bulletin and every other iris periodical I could get my
hands on and sent messages to those in the know and have not heard (or found)
one word...
Also, are there any good judging schools coming up between now and the 1st of
March anywhere within a couple hundred miles of OKC that anyone knows
about??? Need to get my time in before March Madness begins...
Thanks & Cheers! Kath in OKC..... =^.^=
