Right and wrong, Bill! A quick review of the iris-talk archives for
December, 1999 reveals that there were 685 messages posted by 108 different
persons. The breakdown by number of posting per individual was
1-4 messages 68 persons
5-9 messages 21 persons
10-19 messages 12 persons
20 + messages 7 persons
If you consider that those who posted 10 or more messages are doing "all
the talking", then you are just about right on, but we should realize that
many more persons are contributing to the discussion as they see fit. Also,
the twenty persons posting the highest number of messages are not all the
same individuals as we move across time, either linearly or cyclically.
