Your best bet is to use a pre-emergent, to stop weeds germinating (We use
SurFlan) but you can get fairly close to your plants with a hooded spayer
using a glyphosate. In general a light touch of glyphosate won't kill your
plants, but used during the spring growing period will cause bloom
malformation. Usually colour washout and plainer form. But it may be the
only way to get rid of your perennial weeds. But I don't think there is
anything you can rashly spray the whole lot with. As a commercial grower I
wish there was.
