Curiosity got the better of me last year, and I bought 6 seedlings offered
by a perrenial plant mail order company, which touted them as being from an
'Australian breeding program'. The seedlings were offered as 'unnamed
seedlings in full colour range, with many bicolours'. Cost 6 for $9.00 Au.
They have lived up to my expectations fully so far. Poor growth, hardly any
increase, only one flowered, and it was a major disappointment.
I can only hope that my seedlings (500 of them, showing particularly good
growth, mainly in large pots, 3 or 4 dwarfs or IB's together) are much more
soul satisfying, and must remember not to waste my money in future.
