Jean Morris, AIS Youth Chairman, informs us that NO (zero, zip, nada)
nominations have been received as yet for the Clarke Cosgrove Memorial Award
Achievement and the deadline is January 31, 2001.
We all realize that the Youth are the future of AIS. The Essay & Coloring
Contests drew entries from Youth in over one third of the AIS Regions but NO
Adult has nominated a Youth for the Clarke Cosgrove Award.
Please do your part to encourage Youth by bringing this to the attention of
all adult AIS members, AIS Affiliates, friends and relatives of Youth
Members. Winners receive trophies, certificates and cash awards as well as
the support, recognition and encouragement of members of AIS. Don't leave
this IMPORTANT job for "the next guy".
The full details for submission are in the AIS October 2000 Bulletin (pages
11-14) but basically any AIS member can nominate any AIS Youth by sending a
letter or e-mail to Jean Morris following the basic outline below:
