I leave my tulips and crocuses in the ground all year and in a zone 8/9 we
get enough chilling for them to bloom, however people in warmer areas are
advised to chill them in the fridge crisper for 6 weeks to induce bloom. So
either put them outside or in the fridge for 6 weeks, they won't bloom with
this much chilling
