Hi All,

They also fill the dividers between lanes of boulevards and parkways with
Dietes. Many people in the Los Angeles area grow them in their yards, some
making hedges of them. They sell them in pots at K-Mart. We bought what was
supposed to be Dietes bicolor, a yellow form with a brown spot, (and carried
two pots home on the airplane), but when it bloomed, it was a small white
bloom. We have also started plants from SIGNA seed. We have to keep our pots
in a greenhouse over winter. One pot also went into our daughter's yard in
Thousand Oaks, CA, but it hasn't bloomed yet.
