  Can we call them calicos?  It seems the logical step since most of us are cat 
  lovers.   <g>


  In Australia we call tri coloured cats 'tortoiseshell' or simply 'torties'.
  If Linda can come up with 'Umbrata' and have it catch on (with or without the 'r'  :-), maybe we can manage to get a new name started for multicoloured irises?
