In our show, classes are designated by TB, BB, IB, Sib, etc. We may have a
historic class if enough interest is generated. However, members often give
awards for best blue, best white, best BEVERLY SILLS, etc., depending on
personal preferences. This was the context in which I was giving an award.
With my definition, variegatas are one of my favorite color combinations with
bitone blues being next in line. Close behind would be the red on yellow--HOT
STREAK type.
When I attempted to give the award for variegatas, any number of things were
brought to the table. Several didn' t fit my understanding of variegata. I
decided I would toss it to the group and see what I could learn.
