HYB: iris registry

Hi, newcomers,

The veterans of this egroup and of hybridizing in general will surely 
know this.  But for those of us newer to the game, I'm finding the 
iris registry site invaluable.  The left-hand button gives complete 
listings, including season and parentage for all irises registered up 
through '89.  And it ALSO lists other irises that have that one in 
its parentage -- giving not only info on the seedlings it throws, but 
whether the iris in question was used as pod or pollen parent.  I'm 
finding this a goldmine for planning my crosses!

Of course, it will be even more valuable once the '90s cultivars have 
been input.  Worth a charge if it comes with one!  I can't wait!
