Dear John:
As Immediate Past President of The Median Iris Society, I must tell you that
Standard Dwarf Bearded (SDB) irises are a very large part of median irises.
The classes covered are SDB, IB (Intermediate), BB (Border) and MTB
(Miniature Tall Bearded). I am also a Director of The Dwarf Iris Society.
This society only has to do with Miniature Dwarf Bearded irises. There was a
lot of controversy in the past and still some lingers about which class SDBs
belong in, but officially they are Medians.
