RE: CULT: weather - rollercoaster freeze tolerance

Linda,

Our ice storm wasn't all that long ago. And we had rain just before
Christmas. The weather remains mild but at least we have snow cover now.
We're supposed to get our normal snowfall this year, so I expect I won't be
reporting on rollercoaster freeze tolerance. <g>

Wierd weather - last year & year before, the frozen rain/awful mess line
was way north of here (Canada, as I recall!). This year, it's way
south. Snow is ok, but I sure feel sorry for those folks south of here
who got rain, turning to ice, covered by snow. It's been years since
we've had a big one of those nasty ice storms - close to a decade, I
think. This year, the weather people are calling for a lot of flip
flops in the jet stream - a good year to check irises for their
tolerance of rollercoaster/freeze thaw cycles! Get out your notebooks,
folks <g>.
