Dear Dana and Linda, Don't we wish we could enjoy some warm weather. Yesterday we had a high of 37 degrees with extremely heavy fog. It caused a 59 car pile up on the west side of Salt Lake City. I'm a school crossing guard and boy I'm I wanting warmer weather already. I'm sooo ready for iris season this year, but I know that I have to have patience. Sincerely Susan B

The combination of that and our 70+ degree weather made me want to go outside and play. What a shame that we have to work for a living!! Most years, it sets about the same time beginning about Dec 8, then is more or less 'stuck' there as days get shorter (sun coming up later) until the solstice. After the solstice, days start getting a little longer, but the sun is still setting about the same time, until today. Hooray! Plant something. Celebrate the new year. -- Linda Mann east Tennessee USA zone 7/8 American Iris Society web site <http://www.irises.org> iris-talk/Mallorn archives: <http://www.hort.net/lists/iris-talk/> iris-photos/Mallorn archives: <http://www.hort.net/lists/iris-photos/> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE IRIS --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE IRIS
