Walter, I understand....I like the idea of having all one hybridizer's
together too. But having an artist's eye (sort of), I placed my colors to
compliment each other. With an exception in my daylily bed of an orange red
near a plum purple, I cringe every time I see them blooming together. Gotta
re arrange those two...My short irises are all in one bed mixed up...My TBs
are arranged in groups of yellows, blues, pinks, reds. and then I started
the bicolors, well from there on anything went!!! I am no good at
organization, but I do like to plan my colors somewhat. I wish I had one of
Keppels catalogs. I LOVE his irises, especially the ones with veins or what
ever, I am still learning here, but I think they are beautiful.Sorry to
ramble.
