Hi,
Actually I had two fields for the location so Location (Bed) would be the
bed and then the Secondary Location (Beds) one could easily change to row
and position (combined into one) as the field is editable.
However, for all the input you provided Mike, I've actually put in three
separate fields Location (Bed), Location (Row), Location (Position). I
also changed the branching to have it's own editable list but you'll have to
edit the list because I don't know what to put in that. The reason where I
stopped where I did the last time we talked was because I could not at that
time incorporate seedlings. Instead to bridge the gap one would have two
folders each with a copy of the database - one for the seedlings and the
other for the ones you've put in the garden.
I have to give credit also to a major contributor who is Ed Czarnecki from
Manitoba who for many years was a prairie farmer who knew all sorts of
information about breeding etc. etc. etc.
I must tip my hat to these two Gentlemen (Ed & Mike) for their incredible
contributions.
I always welcome suggestions and irises ;-)
Eventually, probably in fall I will have a new Edition with a watermark Iris
in the background and the improvements that everyone suggests.
Please note that I will also try to have one for Lilies at that time as I
owe that to Ed.
I will post the updated changed database (Version 1.3 - beta) to my website
by 12:00 midnight MST.
Please enjoy!
