I was unfamiliar with Access, but have a copy that I guess came with my
PC, so played around with it a bit this afternoon.
I use Excel and Quattro Pro spreadsheets for my garden files. Those two
bits of software seem so simple to use compared to Access or other
database software, I don't understand the benefits of Access type
applications.
It does make pretty output without a lot of fussing around, and I can
see value in such a thing for a commercial operation, but I'm missing
the benefit for simply tracking what I have and where I put it.
