Anybody ever try making crosses with STEAM HEAT? It has huge blooms,
has done reasonably well here (well enough in this area to show up in
club sales), and is a fairly exotic color combo. Even with the usual
caveats as to accuracy of parentage that goes with Tompkins' intros,
this one seems like it might be fun to play with.
STEAM HEAT (C. Tompkins, R. 1989). Sdlg. 83-35. TB, 38" (97 cm), M.
"S. light icy buff pink, veined orchid; F. ivory white, 1/2"
mulberry blue edge; tangerine-tipped beard. April Lost X Capricious.
Fleur de Lis 1988."
