Linda, it has bloomed great here and I've had it since the year it was
introduced. I lined out a lot of IS here (new place). It had been one of my most
prolific increasers. I will be closely watching all those seedlings that
rebloomed in the summer of 2003.
I've got a couple of plicata seedlings that lean toward the blue side and
they have blue beards. A new love! One even bloomed in the summer 2003. New
passions to discover. Interesting (only to me?) that I made those crosses
because I had iris bloom and nothing else to cross. If I didn't have this incurable
disease, I would not have made ANY plicata crosses other than the red on
yellow ones. Now, I'm making them because I want to, rather than because I have
to!
