Re: HYB: Blue beards
Just out of curiosity, are there any wild 40 chromosome species that have
yellow with blue beards? I. lutescens (and perhaps some others of those
with similar chromosome compliments) were used extensively in early SDB
breeding, weren't they. In fact, if I remember correctly many of the
records for early garden selections of "I. pumila" were really plants of I.
lutescens.
