Neil, After I sent a question about the DNA discussion, I realized I made a
mistake about the patent I mentioned. I think the patent was actually  the
process used in the transformation and/or selection of the red genes maybe
not an actual red iris. See...it's too deep for me but fascinating. I wonder
if insects would even pollinate a red iris?
