HYB:colors [was:Re: layers]

Addendum:  Crook--a question.  Just where on a spectrum will you find
red-violet, magenta, fuchsia and such colors?

You won't.  They aren't there.

The perception by humans of such colors is an "artifact," a product of the
color-vision process of which I have offered a very short-hand description, so
abbreviated a description actually that it belies the complexity and amazing
detail of the process.
