HYB:Goals

There are several hybridzers on the list, and even more people that just  
want to make a few crosses for fun. I thought it might be interesting to  see 
what goals people have when they make crosses.  
 
My primary goal is irises that rebloom in cooler climates, but I do often  
make that 'oncer' cross. 
 
What are your hybridizing goals?
