Re: HYB: cooler climate rebloomers

Hi, i'm new to the group and have been looking for information on 'ECHO VALLEY', probably a bearded German iris. The iris is blue and white and blooms twice a year. The second blooming was (if i remember correctly) was late November. It was first found blooming in about 1955 to 1960's, or there about. i was told that there was only one other iris that repetead (at that time) and it was named 'ECHO.' Does anyone know about this iris ('Echo Valley') and where can i find some tubers to plant? Thanks, geoff<><

Hello All You Hybridizers Out There -

I'm volunteering to test any seedlings you wish in my southeast MI gardens. Rebloomers are my favorite iris (last fall I had about 25 rebloom - or try to - for me, and I'm sure it'll get better with each year); and as I'm investing in a Mantis tiller, gardening in general is going to be easier for me. I'm in zone 6a, and grow about 350 iris - mostly bearded, and a few Sibs.

Just thought I'd offer -
