I do, but I probably would never do 55 crosses in the tanks! Water in those
tanks stays fairly chilly, well below room temperature. Each year, I've got
a dozen crosses or so that I'm extra anxious to see. Once I felt the
process is safe, for me, I could do a bunch. Anyone have a 25 day alarm clock??
<VBG> I have outlook but sometimes I forget to pull it up for weeks at a time.

I've 55 pots with seed right now. I expect to harvest that many or more
next year, depending on the conditions. The possibilities are exciting. If I
could increase germination AND have them all the first year, it would be
great!

Thanks for posting your question and your experiment.

It has me thinking again (not that I ever quit). But I woke up to snow on
the ground this morning. Pretty though it was, I found it a bit depressing .
. . and cold.
