The seedling with the fat fan that I have kept an eye on since mid-December
definitely has a slowly growing bloomstalk in it which hasn't emerged from the
fan yet. With the spate of warm weather that we've been having here (it was
above 65 today), I'm concerned that it may do so and be vulnerable to the
freezes that undoubtedly are yet to come. January normally is our coldest
month here, and we have had frost as late as May. But if it doesn't get
caught by the freezes, I'm curious to see how early it will bloom, since it is
a TB. It has rebloomer heritage. -- Griff
